Supported currencies on Mamo

Updated over a month ago

Mamo supports a small set of currencies on purpose.

Each one meets strict safety and reliability standards. Each one serves a clear role. As Mamo grows, new currencies will only be added after careful review.

Right now, Mamo supports the following:

  • USDC

  • Bitcoin

  • Ethereum

  • MAMO

Below is a simple explanation of each one and how it works inside Mamo.

USDC

USDC is a digital version of the US dollar.

One USDC is designed to stay equal to one US dollar. This makes it useful for people who want stability rather than price swings.

Inside Mamo, USDC earns by being lent out in established markets. People borrow USDC and pay interest. That interest flows back into your balance over time.

USDC is often used by people who want:

  • A steady balance

  • Fewer ups and downs

  • Predictable progress

USDC works well as a foundation for long-term plans.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin is the most widely known digital currency.

On Mamo, Bitcoin is held in the form of cbBTC, representing Bitcoin held on a one-to-one basis in Coinbase's custody. Your balance stays tied to Bitcoin’s price while earning quietly in the background.

There is no trading or timing involved. The focus stays on steady participation rather than short-term moves.

Bitcoin on Mamo is often used by people who want:

  • Long-term exposure to Bitcoin

  • A hands-off approach

  • Fewer decisions

Bitcoin is treated as a long-term asset, not something to constantly manage.

Ethereum

Ethereum is a widely used digital currency that supports many financial applications.

On Mamo, Ethereum earns through regular market activity. Mamo monitors conditions and adjusts automatically so your ETH keeps working without daily involvement.

You see one ETH balance. Earnings build gradually over time.

Ethereum on Mamo is often used by people who want:

  • Exposure to Ethereum

  • Automatic earning

  • Simple tracking

Ethereum works quietly while you focus elsewhere.

MAMO

MAMO is the currency tied directly to the Mamo platform.

When you deposit MAMO, you receive a share of the money Mamo earns as a platform. This comes from real usage, not from creating new tokens.

Rewards are shared on a regular schedule and added to your balance automatically.

MAMO is often used by people who want:

  • To grow alongside the platform

  • Ongoing rewards from real activity

  • A long-term connection to Mamo

As Mamo grows, MAMO grows with it.
